4 ways to book your stay at The Montana Inn:

Our rooms are approximately 140 square feet and sleep 2 people. Our suites are approximately 250 square feet with two rooms, a living room and bedroom, and sleep 2 people. WiFi with high-speed internet is available throughout the property. You’ll have access to our common areas including a well-equipped kitchen, coin laundry, and an office space. Relax in the backyard which features a fire pit, grill and occasional deer sightings.

Bison Suite

The Bison Suite was named after the great American Bison that once numbered 30-50 million in the United States, but were hunted down to less than 1,000 in the late 1800's. It has a bedroom with a full-sized bed and a living room with a Smart TV. The suite is located on the 2nd floor. The restroom for this room has a bathtub/shower and is shared with two other rooms.

Boyer Suite

The Boyer Suite was named after the family that built the original house. It has a bedroom with a full-sized bed and a living room with a smart TV. The suite is located on the 1st floor. The restroom for this room has a walk-in shower and hair dryer and is shared with two other rooms.

Carroll Suite

The Carroll Suite was named after Carroll College, a Catholic school in Helena founded in 1909. It has a bedroom with a full-sized bed, a living room, and a smart TV. The suite is located on the 1st floor. The restroom for this room has a walk-in shower and hair dryer and is shared with two other rooms.

Chinook Winds Suite

The Chinook Winds Suite was named after the warm winds from the ocean common to the Northwest, and originated from the Chinook people that lived near the Pacific Ocean just south of the Columbia River. It has a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a living room, and a smart TV. The suite is located on the 1st floor. The restroom for this room has a bathtub w/shower and is shared with two other rooms.

Deerview Room

The Deerview room was named as we have frequent sightings of deer in the backyard. It is one large room with a full-sized bed that includes a large closet and a smart TV. The room is located on the 2nd floor. The restroom for this room has a bathtub w/shower and a hair dryer, and is shared with one other room.

Last Chance Room

The Last Chance room was named after the main street in downtown Helena, Last Chance Gulch, which got its name during the gold rush era. It is one bedroom with a queen-size bed and dresser. The bathroom is shared with two other rooms and has a bathtub w/shower and hair dryer.

Missouri River Suite

The Missouri River Suite is our largest unit featuring a living room with a sofa bed, bedroom with a queen-size bed, walk-in closet, smart TV, and a private bathroom with a tub/shower. The Suite overlooks the back yard where various critters hang out, including deer occasionally.

Montana Room

The Montana Room is a larger bedroom with a queen-size bed, Roku smart TV, and a storage closet. The bathroom is shared with two other rooms and has a bathtub w/shower.

Myrna Loy Suite

The Myrna Loy Suite was named after the actress, born in Helena, who performed in movies from the late 1920's until 1981. It has a bedroom with a full-sized bed and a living room with a smart TV. The suite is located on the 1st floor. The restroom for this room has a bathtub w/shower and is shared with two other rooms.

Sleeping Giant Room

The Sleeping Giant room was named after the well-known rock formation visible from Helena. It is one large room with a full-sized bed that includes a smart TV and walk-in closet. The room is located on the 2nd floor. The restroom for this room has a bathtub w/shower and a hair dryer, and is shared with one other room.

Trombetta Room

The Trombetta room was named after the previous, 20-year owner of the Inn and a long-time friend of the current Innkeeper. It is one room with a queen-sized bed that includes a small closet and a smart TV. The room is located on the 1st floor. The restroom for this room has a walk-in shower and hair dryer and is shared with two other rooms.

Wild Horse Room

The Wild Horse room was named by our fabulous cleaning person because, well, she likes wild horses! It is a smaller, single room with a full-sized bed. We recommend this for one guest - or for two guests for short stays. The room is located on the 1st floor. The restroom for this room has a bathtub w/shower and is shared with two other rooms.
